our story

ChappyWrap, founded in 2005 by Beth Haller LaSala and Monica Shelton Reusch, was inspired by Beth's childhood memories of her all-important, go-everywhere blanket.  That soft, cuddly buddy became essential during daily life with her three sisters.  Even the dog staked a claim when in need of comfort.  The blanket conjured up endless memories of love, friendship, warmth and coziness.  Seeing the tattered friend long past its prime due to wear and tear, Beth reached out to her friend Monica, who added her expertise in product development and the retail/wholesale industries, and ChappyWrap blankets were born.  Designed to last with upbeat colors and patterns to fit any decor or passion, ChappyWraps are...your everyday blankets for life.
